QUEEN LADY DANCER AKA “Prada” is a 2018 AQHA jet black mare standing 14.1 hands tall and weighing in around 1100 pounds. Prada is as elegant as they come and she definitely turns heads wherever we go! She is truly the real life Black Beauty, even sporting similar markings! She has all the shape and bone you could ask for in a horse and she would make a phenomenal attribute to your breeding program. True black horses are hard to find, let alone with the class and ability she comes with! Prada has some outstanding producers in her pedigree. Such as, HAIDAS VIPER, who was shown as a reiner, had top five placings in several northern and midwestern aged events. Haidas Viper was very versatile as a producer, with offspring money and point earners in the NRHA, NSBA, Ranch Versatility, sorting, and team penning. He was sired by HAIDAS LITTLE PEP, a VERY well known cutting horse who sired earners of over $8 million in the cutting pen. He was the reserve world champion, 1986 open NCHA, NCHA cutting futurity, 1983 2nd open futurity, NCHA finals, 1986 1st in open finals, NCHA Derby, 1984 15th ROM performance, NCHA money-earner, COA bronze, silver, gold, platinum, 10 points, NCHA earnings of $357,010. His offspring had 796.5 points earned out of 136 foals shown and 92 point earners. With a pedigree like this, it is no surprise that Prada is as nice and talented as she is! We have had the privilege of having Prada in our family for several years now, and we cannot begin to express how versatile she is. From roping steers in the arena, to packing beginner riders, she is so gentle that we are constantly having to come up with new situations to throw at her. She takes it all in stride and looks impeccable doing it! She is sure to be a HUGE asset to your home, and the decision to offer her to the public hasn’t been an easy one for us. A mare like her is irreplaceable and we know she is destined for bigger things. She will help grow the horse world by blessing another family who needs a safe, dependable horse with longevity on her side! At just four years old, Prada rides like an old campaigner who has seen all there is to see and more. She is incredibly smart and wants nothing more than to please you. It doesn’t matter if you want to ride the trails on Monday, rope steers on Tuesday, and hit a play day on Sunday, she will be ready for whatever you throw at her! Can’t ride her for a few weeks? Not a problem! Turn her out on pasture to kick back and be a horse, and KNOW that you can crawl right back on and carry on like it was just yesterday. Prada has been used for all aspects of life on the ranch. Whether it be walking off a trailer at sunrise and leaving the group to gather pairs, or dragging calves from a rambunctious herd, she is always level headed and quiet making your job effortless and enjoyable. I wouldn’t hesitate to pull her off pasture in a blizzard, hop on and enjoy a snowy ride knowing you will be safe aboard. You can ride her on her own or in a group, rain or shine! She isn’t just a ranch horse either. Prada has been to town to ride through all the streets, lights, and noises accompanied with city lifestyle. She has been in indoor arenas and hauled to several rodeos to see the action there as well! She enjoys a change of scenery and especially likes the attention she gets from onlookers! She rides like a Cadillac with her natural low headset, flowing gaits, and big stop. Her neck rein is effortless and you can ride her in anything you prefer from a war bridle, to a bosal, or with just a plain string around her neck.
