Handsome

Handsome is the incredibly attractive, friendly guy at the party that greets you immediately and makes you feel welcome. This guy has never met a stranger! Handsome is a gorgeous 6 year old dapple grey Percheron Quarter Horse cross gelding. He stands at a very dashing 15.1 hands tall. You can catch this horse anywhere. Mainly because he comes to see what you’re doing first. He is extremely therapeutic to interact with. Washing, brushing, clipping, saddling, loading and unloading are all very calm and relaxing with this guy. He has always been very consistent and trustworthy with my 4 year old and 3 year old little ones leading and handling him. He watches where they are and honors their presence. I have used this gelding to gather cattle. He does not get anxious whatsoever. He’s a calm customer, yet completely willing to do what is asked. Handsome carefully crosses water and ditches. You can open and close gates on him as well. You can take him to a downtown parade and all he wants to do is socialize with the crowd of people. His favorite thing is seeing his own reflection in the store front windows! I would easily classify his temperament and disposition as a 1 on a grading scale of 1-10. He is kind, calm and gentle at all times. Handsome has been trained to drop his head with a subtle cue for short riders to halter and bridle him with ease. He has been used as a therapy horse for wheelchair bound individuals to be able to catch, brush, lead and interact with equines. Handsome has a few white hairs on his front left cannon bone from a superficial scar. He has already completed a full pre-purchase and soundness exam. As expected, he passed with flying colors.
