WB's Fancy Feather

Feather is pretty both inside & out. She is definitely a favorite with our family. She is an exceptionally smart, Gypsy Vanner cross mare. We recently encouraged the previous owners to locate the breeder and get more information on her. So, we now have her registered as WB’s Fancy Feather with the Gypsy Horse Association. She was foaled on 04/27/17 & is currently 6 years old. She stands 15.0 hands and weighs 1210 lbs. We had the privilege of starting this nice mare back when she was a 2 yr. old. She learned fast then and always had the best demeanor. Fortunately for us, we got the opportunity to own her later. Feather is a well proportioned mare with all the looks & confirmation you would want a horse to have. She is exceptionally smooth in all of her gaits. She really steps out & can walk a hole in the ground. She has good stamina on trail rides and has no quit in her. She was primarily used for trail riding by her previous owners. They got her use to various types of trails, loud music and overnight camping. They told us they had carried a speaker on the back of their saddle, while on long trail rides. Since we have owned her, we have used her for family trail rides here on the ranch, in our riding lesson program, rode her in parades and trail rides all over Texas & Arkansas. We have also used her for all types of tasks here on the ranch, such as gathering, penning & sorting cattle, ponying colts, checking fences & clearing trails. She will walk, trot & lope on cue for most any rider that knows the basics. She is good with her leads. She has good ground manners and is gentle to be around. In all of her training with us, she has never bucked. Our clients that raised her, say the exact same thing of their time owning her.
