Chocolate Chip is your favorite big horse shrunken into a 11.2 hand black welsh pony package! After you are around Chip and get to ride him, you won’t believe that he is just 5 yrs old! He is an old soul, with old school shape and bone! This breathtaking pony has been Saylor’s (5yrs old) go to pony. She comes home from School and immediately runs and Catches Chip. Chip will meet her halfway and always patiently waits on her to put a halter on him lead him up to the fence, crawl on and ride him off! Saylor and Chip have spent many Saturdays on their own playing whatever games a 5 yr old little girl can come up with for her pony. We have caught them many times, in the living room of our home or even up on the porch. Chip is every little girls dream pony! His manners are beyond comparison, he adores little ones, and is the most patient and forgiving pony we have ever owned. That’s not all! Chip is broke like your best horse! Lopes around beautiful, deep stop and ones handed smooth spins! Chip side passes both directions and will easily let you open and close gates on him. Chip has also been roped on by Saylor’s 7yr old brother Kyler! Ky has spent a lot of time tracking calves around and learning to rope on Chip. Wait, there’s more! Saylor has rode Chip at several play days where she has done everything from carrying the American flag in the grand entry to showing in halter and showmanship and even the barrels and poles! Chip is very broke and will only go as fast as you ask him to. Making him the perfect pony for a beginner kiddo to learn the right way to ride. Not only is he the best teacher but a reliable confidence builder as well. This incredible pony has been rode out in big country to gather and ship cattle, he safely packs our children around through any kind of terrain, from steep rocky canyons, through rivers, and over bridges. Chip is the most sensible and quiet pony when it comes to Machinery, traffic, gun fire, dogs, wildlife and any other sort of chaos you could run into. Chip is one of the smoothest ponies we have owned. His walk trot and lope are all very easy to sit and he has easy transitions into all three gates. Chip has a very light mouth and a light neck rein making him very easy to guide around for the tiniest beginners. Chip also works the cutting Flag! Saylor has had a ball teaching him to work it and its been a really cool learning experience for them both. To add to Chip’s extensive resume he’s also broke to drive. He pulls a cart and drives well! Chip is the wonder pony that does absolutely everything a pony can do including steal your whole heart! You are absolutely sure to fall in love with him in 5 minutes or less! If you have any questions please give us a call. Cheyenne 806-282-7093 or Levi at 785-531-2353, you can ask for Saylor too and she would love to tell you about Chip!
Ponies
Here is a fun, amazing, one of a kind pony that you do not see everyday! Hero is a registered Gypsy/Pony cross. He is a 2017 gelding that stands12H and really is one of the most adorable ponies that we have ever had in our barn. He is being represented by our son, as he is the one that took the time to work with him and get him ready to show off. He not only rides awesome, he also drives just as good. He has been on several trail rides and will go through water, over bridges, and is great in traffic. He has been a lot of fun to take through our program and is safe for anyone of any level to ride or drive. He has beautiful movement and can excel in anything that you would like to take him to do. He rides English and Western and has three easy to ride gaits. He has a nice extension at the trot and has a great uphill canter as well. He has been around a lot of farm animals and is used to farm equipment. He is wearing shoes all around because of where we ride him. He stands awesome in the cross ties and is a gem in his stall. He can be kept out in the pasture and will come running when you call him. He loves attention and will stand for hours while you groom and braid his hair. He does not have any bad habits and does not need to be in a program for him to be a solid pony each time you get him out. We have thoroughly loved this sweet boy for the time that we have had him. We have shot a gun off of him, cracked bull whips, played with balls, had a tarp on him and he just takes it all in. If Hero is the pony that caught your eye, please give Duane Yoder of Buckeye Acre Farm a call @ 330-231-2324.
Ringo is a one of a kind Grey Welsh Pony! He stands 11.3H tall and is 8 yrs old. We have used Ringo for everything under the sun! He’s been a fun one for the kids to take to the branding and drag calves on. Saylor rides him to gather in the spring and she takes him to play days in the summer. We have rode him all over the Palo Duro Canyon and even had him on some overnight camping trips. Ringo is the pony your kids will grow up with. He’s forgiving and sensible enough for the tiniest beginners and broke enough for the bigger kids to have a ball on! Ringo lopes around slow and pretty broth ways. He will slide to a stop and has a good one handed turn around. Ringo is very soft and light in the face and sides making him super manageable for the littles! We have also ridden Ringo English and he looks extremely sharp all tacked up trotting around! Saylor’s favorite thing about Ringo is how smooth he is and that he will go absolutely anywhere she points him. He crosses water, down logs, and rides right by busy traffic, flags, tarps, and loud noises. Ringo stays sane and gentle under pressure he never gives us a single reason to worry. Saylor loves to wash Ringo and brush his pretty white mane and tail. He follows her wherever she leads him and stands like a solider for her to brush and braid his mane and tail. Aside from Ringo’s stellar manners, beautiful looks, and impeccable training, his other great quality is his mind and sweet demeanor. He likes his kiddos and craves their attention, while still behaving like a gentleman. When you go out in a field to catch him, he will meet you halfway & ready to please! This is a pony that has the hearts of our whole family and when you spend a few moments with him you are sure to see why. If you have any questions about Ringo or you would like to bring the family and come try him out, give us a call! Cheyenne at 806-282-7093 or Levi at 785-531-2353.
