Meet Takoda! Takoda is a Native American name meaning a friend to everyone which describes this special gelding perfectly. Takoda is exactly the kind of horse people dream about owning and the chance only comes once in a lifetime. Takoda is a 5-year-old Gypsy Cross Gelding, that stands 15.1H. He’s America’s favorite color, Buckskin – which also makes him extremely unique being a Gypsy Vanner. Takoda is by a foundation Quarter Horse Stallion that goes back to FRECKLES PLAYBOY and REAL GUN, and out of a Gypsy Vanner Mare. Takoda is very striking with his flawless looks, correct conformation, and absolutely beautiful mane and tail! His looks, combined with his friendly demeanor, make him a hit everywhere he goes. Nobody passes by this gelding without giving him a second look! Takoda’s personality is just the beginning – he’s the definition of easy and fun to ride. Nothing phases Takoda, he approaches everything with an easy going, confident manner. He is well acclimated to small kids, unmannered dogs, pesky cats, large farm machinery, busy traffic, loud equipment, drones, tarps, balls, bull whips, and more. Takoda always has his rider’s safety in mind and has a way of making his rider feel secure in all situations. He has been on several overnight trail rides across the country and loves seeing new sights. Takoda loves to ride out alone, but also enjoys riding with a group. Takoda rides just as good outside the arena, as he does in the arena. He’s talented under saddle and rides both Western and English. He has a great handle; one handed neck rein, picks up his leads, side passes, spins, collects, stops off your seat, lopes off in his tracks, and will absolutely go anywhere you point him. His gaits and transitions are so smooth! Takoda knows tricks too! He will lay down and sit on command. He picks up every ride just the way you left him. Takoda has been rode by all levels and ages of riders. He is forgiving enough for the beginner rider and fancy enough for the experienced rider. He’s our first pick when someone new comes to the barn! His manners are first class all the way around, from the ground to the pasture. Mojo is a 4-year-old, Blue Roan Gelding that stands 15.1H. Mojo is a true family horse, we have sure enjoyed him. He has accommodated all levels of riders, big and small! He is very simple to ride and very well trained. Mojo is very quiet and he keeps a sensible, level head no matter how hectic a situation may become. Mojo makes sure his rider’s safety is his first priority. Ranch Riding, Ranch Versatility, trail riding on overnight camping trips, cow work, obstacle courses, roping, bareback, bridleless, obstacles, you name it – he’s done it. He is the kind of horse that goes unfazed, whether he’s done it a million times or if it’s his first time.  He has been tested and has proven himself. Mojo is safe for all levels of riders, in and out of the arena. Mojo is great on the trails and loves seeing new country! He will go anywhere you point him, from creeks, to logs and bridges, mud, steep hills, and rough terrain. We have used Mojo for all kinds of ranch work; gathering and sorting cattle, pasture roping, and doctoring calves. He gets along great with other horses and adapts very quickly to new places! He’s always cool as a cucumber whether he’s in a stall, paddock, or pasture. He hauls, loads, shoes, bathes, and clips with ease. Mojo can go for long periods of time without being rode. He is super simple to go out, throw a saddle on him, and he is the same every time. Mojo is a grandson of one of the all time leading cutting horse sires, DUAL PEP. He is also a grandson of the infamous Pitzer Ranch stallion, MR GOLD BUCKS. Mojo is a complete individual with the pedigree to back it up!
