Ricky is a complete pleasure to be around 100% of the time. I have owned him since he was a two year old and he was started and trained by my husband, Teryn Muench. His personality is kind and sweet. He loves getting any kind of attention and will even leave his feed to come get a pat or a scratch on the neck from you. He loves getting any kind of treats, especially peppermint. Ricky has excellent manners! He stands perfect for the farrier and for haircuts. No matter what you ask of him, he is always compliant and calm. Ricky has never disappointed me, whether it be showing him at a cutting, using him on the ranch to gather and ship cattle or just taking him out for a ride. Ricky has won over $30,000.00 in NCHA cutting horse competitions! He has been hauled all over the country for shows. In 2021 he helped me qualify and compete at the NCHA Non Pro World Finals in Fort Worth! He is a lot of fun to show and easy to prepare. He will continue to be shown up until the day of the sale. His sire, ONCE IN A BLU BOON, has produced offspring that have won almost 7 million dollars! So whether you are considering showing or you just want an exceptional horse to ride and be around, Ricky is that horse! Plus, he is a gorgeous bay, standing 15 hands and weighing 1100 pounds! He loads and hauls well, both in a show trailer or a stock trailer with other horses. Ricky loves other animals and turns everyone he meets into his friend. We have owned this beautiful gelding since he was two years old. Curtis has been used every day, either on our ranch taking care of cattle or as a turn back horse in our cutting horse training operation. He has helped halter break mustangs, and has gone all over the country to cutting horse shows and turned back all day. He is a favorite among all the kids at the horse shows because of his unique and friendly personality. Curtis is quiet and gentle everyday. He is always happy to go to work, whether you need him to rope and doctor cattle or go for a relaxing trail ride. Curtis has very good manners and stands perfect for the farrier and for haircuts. He really enjoys being groomed and getting peppermint treats. The fifth time I rode him, I used him to drag calves. He is so much fun to use, and he’s the first horse I catch and ride everyday! Curtis is definitely a special horse. He possesses many qualities that are not often found in the same package. Curtis is very easy to get along with and will never give you any trouble. He is good in the arena, out on the ranch or in town at a crowded horse show. He is kind to other horses and likes dogs. Loud noises, heavy equipment and traffic do not phase him. Plus he is easy on the eyes! They don’t come more blue roan than him! Standing 15 hands and weighing 1000 pounds, he is the perfect size. Curtis is a good horse for any level of rider and is the perfect equine partner! For more information, contact Teryn @ (580)-272-8225.
